Sun wins it for Jarreth

Well done to LeAnn Rimes who took home the trophy on The Masked Singer, correctly guessed by Jarreth. He was also very close guessing Crocodile. He knew it was the blonde from The Backstreet Boys, he just didn't know the name. It was in fact, Nick Carter.

He did really well this season but don't tell him I said so or he'll never get his head through the studio door 🤣.

More sadness today with the news that Jeremy Bulloch, AKA Boba Fett from the original trilogy, passed away on Thursday 17th December after health complications following his many years living with Parkinson's disease. He was 75. Condolences to all his family and friends.

I have heard of harsh punishments before but this one takes the cake.

19year old Fatemeh Khishvand from Iran was sentenced to 10 years in jail. The charges 'corruption of young people and disrespect for the Islamic Republic'. What on earth did she do to be charged with that? you ask. Well, I'll tell you.

The girl who goes by the name Sahar Tabar on Instagram became a social media star after publishing heavily distorted images that fooled people into thinking she had surgically altered her face to make it look eerily gaunt; making herself look like a "zombie" Angelina Jolie.

She posted the creepy pictures on social media as a "joke", but her Photoshop skills angered the hardline regime in Tehran.

The creepy images were created with the use of make-up and photoshop and have amassed her 500,000 followers.

After an outcry, she was released a few days later.

Imagine looking out of your bedroom window and seeing a fin stealthy moving its way through the water in your back yard. Yep, after heavy rain, the Bull Sharkshark is believed to have found its way into a canal in Burleigh Waters, which had swollen its banks after heavy rainfall in the area.

You know your country has a problem with smog when your citizens are getting lost — in the smog. A woman in China went missing after a walk, got disoriented and ended up in some woods. Her husband reported her missing, prompting a two-hour search by police.

A Portuguese man was left standing at the altar after his would-be bride was reportedly locked up in her room by her father who opposed the wedding. While the groom and guests from both families waited at the church, the bride’s father used a shotgun to prevent her from leaving her room. Police were called, dad was arrested, the bride and groom were married.

Christmas tree-related injuries are on the rise. At least that’s what a survey (from LendingTree) has found. According to the survey, 1 in 5 Americans have reportedly been injured while setting up their Christmas tree this year. This number is 122% higher than last year. Of those who admitted they were injured by a Christmas tree, most were men. (typical)

Holiday gatherings are looking different this year due to the ongoing pandemic, but at least we can still decorate Christmas trees. In such a volatile year, it’s important to appreciate the little things, which may be why Baby Yoda has become the unofficial Christmas tree topper of 2020.
