Well, here we are again. The Season 4,
2-hour finale of the Masked Singer is upon us.
The finalists are Sun, Crocodile and Mushroom and it kicks off tonight at 8/7c on Fox.
I have no clue who any of them might be but it's a fairly close call. This season has been strewn with great singers.
I came across a story today which made me chuckle. It shouldn't have because I am a royalist, but Meghan Markle is a piece of work. The latest news is that both Harry and Meghan have started a podcast show from their own production company, Archewell Audio. Named after their kid, no doubt. It is reported that they have an $18m (£30m) deal with Spotify but what made me chuckle was the reaction from Piers Morgan on Good Morning Britain.
I'm no big fan of Piers, but in this case, I think he might have a point.
It is definitely cringeworthy. However, we might yet be saved, as Spotify appears to have gone down with people from all over the world complaining that the music streaming system has stopped working and blaming it on the users own internet connection.
This isn't the only thing Ol' Piers has been ranting about regarding The Duchess of Sussex (is she technically still that? I'd have stripped away from her right now).
Piers got all riled up at the wife of Prince Harry after she gifted a hamper of a product she has just invested in, to TV host Oprah Winfrey.
He shared his displeasure that she was using her celebrity pals to promote the health drink which could lead to the Duchess cashing in.
He fumed: "She decides to invest in this vegan latte drink she then sends it to Oprah who then tweets it then drinks it on her show!"
He further stated, "It means she can make millions by sending the product to Oprah."
As the saying goes, "it's not what you know..."
Speaking of rants, it seems Tom Cruise flew into a rage after workers broke Covid 19 rules on the set of the new Mission: Impossible movie. Tom has worked tirelessly behind the scenes to implement and enforce rigid social-distancing rules during the filming.
An audio recording of him is out there of him screaming “If I see you do it again, you’re f***ing gone. And if anyone in this crew does it, that’s it — and you too and you too. And you, don’t you ever f***ing do it again.”
The Sun newspaper who published the story even made up their own poster for the new movie, which I found hilarious. Take a peek.
Love it lol
As I have been in Customer Service since leaving school, one of the things I instil into people is that "You never get a second chance to make a first impression". But did you know, it takes less than 30 sec to make a first impression?
Whether it be a first date, an interview or a new business meeting, new research shows you only have 27 seconds to make a good first impression. The key factors are smiling, being polite, smelling nice, being a good listener, and making eye contact. I would also add being punctual if not 5 minutes early and being prepared if it is work-related. The research showed that on a first date, the average person knows within 15 minutes whether or not they want a second date.
Today's Wacky but True comes from England (Where else? lol) where a man suspected of drunk-driving tried to escape police by hiding. After crashing his car the man attempted to hide from police in a large shed housing a nativity scene.
Maybe he realised he was an ass!
Snow Facts
The first one (above) is accurate enough and I defy anyone to prove me wrong and secondly: Most of Us Don’t Trust Other Drivers During Winter Weather.
A survey asked adults about how they approach cold weather behind the wheel. Incredibly, 91% of drivers don’t think others on the road know how to drive safely in the winter.
I mean I don't trust other road users full stop, but definitely not in winter weather.
We had a great deal of fun today. Thanks to all who participated in the raffle ticket games and quizzes. It was a blast. See ya Friday.
Love always
